Revenge of the Mummy
A 2004 coaster that's surprisingly hard to categorize. The first act is a slow dark-ride sequence through Imhotep's tomb, complete with scarab swarms and a fire ceiling that radiates real heat above your head. Then the track launches forward at speed through inverted curves, plunges in darkness, and a brief backward section. The mix of dark-ride atmosphere and genuine launch-coaster intensity is rare. USF's headline coaster following the permanent closure of Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit.

It is a practical crowd-escape spot: not scenic, but useful when the goal is a few minutes away from the current.

Also in New York: The threads and sensory guides point to it because it is a themed space that people pass without realizing it can be used as a break.
