Magic Kingdom's longest-running thrill, opened in 1975. The coaster itself is modest by modern standards — moderate speed, no inversions, single-car trains — but the trick is the darkness. You can barely see the track in front of you, just glimpses of stars and the occasional swooping comet. Three minutes that feel longer because you have no visual reference for where you are. Recent refurbishments have kept the projection effects fresh; the queue still features the classic Tomorrowland concept art and astronaut mannequins.
