Avatar Flight of Passage

Opened in 2017 with Pandora, and frequently cited as the best ride at Walt Disney World. Guests mount banshee-like simulator vehicles (think motorcycle position, secured at the calves, lower back, and chest), then 3D glasses bring them face-to-face with the world of Avatar — rainforests, bioluminescent caves, oceans, a final dive across a banshee migration. The simulator delivers wind, scent, and movement synced to the visuals; you can feel the banshee's breath beneath you on the chest pad. The queue itself is memorable — it passes through a working 'Pandora research lab.'
